END OF RUS 104 INTEGRATED STUDIO 1, SEMESTER 1, SESSION 2011/2012

Studying in Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) for only 3 months more from 6 September 2011 till 23 December 2011 is not easy way. That make me to study hard more. Also have more inspiration in my life as a university student.

"What something new, you must do. When there something too hard, you can do it yourself."

Don't worry, my friends. We should be patient, brave, and happy. We can make new friends in USM because they are too kind and also can work with each others in share.

As RUS 104 INTEGRATED STUDIO I is over, that make me sad because of time too fast in only 3 months. However, there have more knowledge that I have study how I arrange, deisgn, and communication with others. Plus, this make me as a sweet memory that I had join with HBP members go a trip at Malacca 3 days 4 nights. That was great experience I have.

I also not forget for you all. I must thanks to lecturer, my friends, my best friends, and also my parent who support to me to study successly. Thanks you very much!

PROJECT 13: WORK IN CD (MEASUREMENT)

Project 13 is last project of RUS 104 Integrated Studio 1. This project is overall projects into a CD. We are required to photograph all of the RUS 104 studio projects throughout this semester. We needed to create a DIGITAL PORTFOLIO to include the photo together with a description and also student blogs using a Microsoft Power Point software in A3 format.

Here, my first album for RUS 104. My theme is "MY RUS 104 DIGITAL PORTFOLIO". It content all projects from Project 1 till Project 12. I am proud because all projects are completed in first semester of 2011/2012. Next time, I will improve as I can.

PROJECT 12: (G) PERFORMANCE

This project need students are required to discuss in producing Integrated Studio Presentation Night. Each studio group should prepare a 10 minutes presentation on that night.
Other that, each of the committee laid down below shall be presented by two studio groups:

• Protocol Committee
• Dinner Committee
• Audio Visual Committee
• Presentation Committee
• Cleaning and Safety Committee
• Chairs and Equipment Committee

The performance will be held at HBP Red Square on 23rd December 2011 at 8.30 in the night.

The place for performance was changed to another place due of condition problem, that is raining. So, our performance will be held in hall with air conditioning.

Our group had prepare what we act an actor in one drama or story. Our theme is "TIME TRAVEL", and also plus with "OUR MEMORY". That created by our leader, Mun Kai Hoang (Architecture). We must thank for him because he help more in our group.

Now, another had start what they showed in performance. Sing, actor, crazy people, dance and quick drawing. Our performance held in E48(B) at eight o'clock in the night. The performance end almost 12.30am. However, we had enjoying what we had done in performance. And also that performance is the last day of first semester of 2011/2012. Some people cry because time too fast and more memory what we had success done in every project plus assignment. That one very hard for our life as a student University Science Malaysia (USM). Thank you all!

PROJECT 11: (G) MOUNING AN EXHIBITION (SCALE)

That part of project I like because I can show what I had done from Project 1 until Project 10. It is enjoy and interesting project.

Following their tasks and requirements

Every students are required to produce an A3 size portfolio that can accomodate and protect their works during semester 1. The portfolio shall have graphical values and legible information.

Each student is required to photograph each project to be pasted onto an A1 size Mounting Board (potrait orientation) and graphically arranged acording to student's creativity.

I am happy with my exhibition. On my table of exhibition, I use white cloth to cover the table to look tidy. The arrange of things must be good position so that some viewer can see on my projects.

This project is important to us such as architecture, interior design, planning, etc. students to practice for plan, design and manage the exhibition which function related to the built environment exhibition.

PROJECT 10: (G) COMMUNITY FACILITY (VIEW)

Four days, plus assignment again. That is Project 10: (G) Community Facility (View). That week, I got too many assignments, 7 assignments, that I should finish next week and "next next" week. I make me very busy in my university life. Here what needs for Project 10;

Tasks and Requirements

• Students are required to carry out group case studies of a "Community Facilities" theme in relation to Free Building Structure either located inside or outside a building, which functions as exhibition room, sitting room, sales area, toilets, etc.
• Case studies should be based on the planned Academic Vsit to Malacca. However, additional information based on independent group visits and from other, sources are also encouraged.
• Each group should identify the structure and take photographic evidence, including the surroundings elements. Photographs are to be arranged and compiled of not less than twenty A4 size pages and must include information and references for each image.
• Students are also required to identify any significant decorations / ornaments / motifs / structural icons through the visual observation and close up study of the elements. Subsequently, these elements need to be reproduced through sketches. Each group should produce sketches by inserting the human figures as a graphic scale. Each group must produce at least twenty A4 size sketches.
• The case study report of the Community Facilities shall contain table of Content, Aspects of the Case Studies, all Relevant Information, Sketches, Photographs of the Structure, including the Surroundings and Summary.

I had join trip go Malacca (19 Nov 2011~21 Nov 2011). The purpose for trip is study the oldest buildings and take picture for Project 10.

I very so proud because I can done for ten project in 3 months. Thank you! This time to be exhibition! 

In same day, at night about 10pm, we gather at School of HBP. That was my first trip with university students. I very happy and enjoy. Journey from USM, Penang to Malacca take about 10 hours with pit-stops for rest. That long hours I sitting in bus. However, that one normal for trip. Actually, I like trip.

After three night three day, we all already reach at USM, Penang safely in long journey. We tired but enjoy.
